About the practice

An award-winning practice built on experience and care

YVB Accountancy, previously YVB Bookkeeping Services, was founded in Leeds in 2012 by Yvonne, an ICB-qualified bookkeeper with a career spanning private companies, public sector organisations and charities. What began as a bookkeeping practice has grown into a broader accountancy service, shaped by what clients kept asking for: one trusted place for the books, the payroll, the returns and the reporting.

The practice is deliberately streamlined: experienced people, modern systems and no layers between you and the person who knows your accounts. Clients notice the difference, and they stay.

Why YVB

Chosen for the work, kept for the relationship

You deal with people who know your business

Clients are not passed around a team of strangers. The people who keep your records are the people who answer your questions.

Experience that goes beyond the software

More than 25 years across private companies, public bodies and charities, up to management roles in large organisations.

Practical help, not just processing

We flag what the numbers are telling us, help you improve how the finance side runs and liaise with your other advisers when it saves you money.

Based in Leeds, serving the whole UK

We work from our office at Oaktree House, supporting businesses anywhere in the UK through cloud platforms, and visit your site when sitting down together helps.

Fees agreed in advance

You will always know what the work costs before it starts, and anything extra is agreed with you first. No surprise bills, ever.

Getting started

How working with us begins

  1. An initial consultation

By phone, video or in person at Oaktree House. You tell us where things stand; we tell you honestly how we can help.

  2. A fixed fee, agreed up front

You know exactly what the work costs before anything starts. Extra work only ever happens with your agreement first.

  3. We take it from there

Onboarding, software access, and if you are moving from another accountant, we handle the whole handover.
